Hey! My name is Chelsea, and I’m the owner of Marketised Socials.

I actually started this account while I was at university completing my business degree. At the time it was just a space where I documented my marketing assignments and ideas, but over time it naturally evolved into what is now Marketised Socials.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business where I majored in Marketing and minored in Communications. I’ve always had a huge passion for business, content creation and marketing.

Even when I was younger I was always coming up with business ideas and creating things. I would pitch ideas to my parents, run bake sales to raise money for the RSPCA and even make flower crowns to sell at school back when they were all the rage.

At the same time, I was definitely a bit chronically online. I spent hours filming and editing YouTube videos, making cupcake videos, little skits and filming holidays just for fun. I also taught myself a lot about websites through Tumblr, where I would spend hours coding my blog, designing banners for people and creating content.

So evolving Marketised Socials into a business felt like a really natural step for me.

I started it because I saw how overwhelming the digital space can be for small to medium businesses. Trends change quickly, consumer behaviour evolves and attention spans are shorter than ever.

Sometimes businesses think they need to completely rebuild everything and hire expensive agencies, but often the bones of their website and content are already there; it just needs a refresh.

That’s where I come in!

My goal is to help businesses showcase what they already do well by capturing fresh content, refreshing their website and helping their brand show up in the best possible way online.

Over time, I’ve helped businesses with little to no online presence grow into successful online brands. I’ve also worked with established businesses to help them keep up with their growing communities and take their content and websites to the next level.
